Dr. Lisa Germain maintains an endodontic, implantology, and facial pain management practice in New Orleans, LA. Due to her multiple areas of expertise, she is an opinion leader and educator in the field of dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy and is actively involved in many dental organizations.

Dr. Germain graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School in 1978. She then completed a one-year General Practice residency program at Sinai Hospital in Detroit, Michigan from 1978-1979. In 1981, Dr. Germain graduated from the esteemed Henry M. Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry at Boston University with a specialty certificate in Endodontics. She stayed on for another year to complete a research project and dissertation and was awarded a Masters of Science Degree in 1982. (MScD). By 1981, Dr. Germain was working in the Boston metropolitan area as an endodontic associate before starting her own private practice in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1984. Dr. Germain became board certified in Endodontics and was the second female in the history of the specialty to achieve Diplomate status.

After completing a comprehensive, hands-on course at the Engel Implant Institute, Dr. Germain enrolled in a residency program at the Misch Institute to enhance her clinical skills in implantology. She was awarded a Fellow of the Misch Implant Institute in 2009, as well as a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists the same year.
Due to Dr. Germain’s unique combination of skills and experience in endodontics and implantology, she is considered an expert in the differential diagnosis and treatment of odontogenic and non-odontogenic pathology for successful therapeutic outcomes.

Dr. Germain is currently a senior faculty member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and travels across the country teaching dental and medical professionals how to administer Botulinum neurotoxin-A and hyaluronic acid dermal fillers for therapeutic and cosmetic use. Dr. Germain also lectures around the world at dental meetings and in university settings on a variety of dental topics and is a contributing author for Dentistry Today.

In addition to her passion and dedication towards Endodontics, Dr. Germain is also active in her community: She is a member of the Mardi Gras organization Krewe of Muses, a music enthusiast, award-winning artist, and overall powerhouse whose personal best “dead lift” at the gym is 165 pounds. (1 and ½ times her weight.)

Dr. George H. Arch, Jr. graduated Magna Cum Laude from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a Bachelors Degree in Microbiology. Upon graduation, he accepted a position as a research associate at Tulane University School of Medicine under the guidance of Dr. Andrew Schally, a Nobel Prize winner in Medicine. Dr. Arch graduated from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2002. Upon graduation, he was accepted into and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program. He then was accepted into the Endodontic Residency Program at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry.

Upon completion of the Endodontic Program, Dr. Arch joined the practice of Dr. Lisa P. Germain in Uptown New Orleans. He also holds a position in the LSU School of Dentistry Department of Endodontics, where he serves as Clinical Assistant Professor. He has lectured for the New Orleans Dental Hygiene Association and is a member of the American Association of Endodontists.

Dr. Arch is active in organized dentistry. At the State level, he has been a member of the Louisiana Dental Association House of Delegates since 2007. He is also a member of the Council on the New Dentist and has served on the American Dental Association New Dentist Committee from 2008-2009. Dr. Arch has served as a board member and in various roles with the New Orleans Dental Association since 2007. In 2012, he was elected President of NODA. He has been a volunteer with the New Orleans Dental Conference, Donated Dental Services and the Louisiana Dental Association since 2007. In 2013, the Louisiana Dental Association presented Dr. Arch with the distinguished New Dentist Award acknowledging his outstanding achievement in Dentistry.
